In less than a month the Cherelle Parker will officially take office. As our city continues to experience unacceptable community-level outcomes in gun violence, drug deaths, and poverty as well as an impending fiscal cliff, we need to get smarter, faster, and more targeted in the way we tackle challenges. The latest #VisionPhiladelphia paper is on the importance of data integration and partnerships to deliver better outcomes for all Philadelphians. Thank you to Anjali Chainani and Andres Celin from Anavi Strategies and Jamile Tellez Lieberman at Esperanza: Strengthening Hispanic Communities who co-authored Advancing Community Outcomes through Data Sharing and Partnerships. This paper provides recommendations to the incoming Parker Administration to take a bold approach and bring the political will necessary to making meaningful progress in our city. To learn more about the critical need for data integration in Philadelphia, read the full paper at https://visionphiladelphia.org/advancing-community-outcomes-through-equitable-data-sharing-and-partnerships/. -- Vision Philadelphia is supported in part by The Barra Foundation, Neubauer Family Foundation, The Pew Charitable Trusts, Philadelphia Foundation, Regional Foundation, Scattergood Foundation, Stoneleigh Foundation, William Penn Foundation, and United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
