“Mom’s are warriors. The strongest people I know.” Last year, we shared the story of Amy, a mom who spent last Mother’s Day on in the antepartum unit at Strong. We checked in with her, and she’s doing amazing and spending Mother’s Day with her family: “The last 365 days has really put motherhood in perspective for me. From spending my last Mother’s Day in the Ante Partum unit at Strong, to now being a mom of 2. Moms are warriors, the strongest people I know. Often not because they want to be, but because they have to be. I am so thankful for all of the Moms, those who take care of the Moms & all those little people that have made us Moms. Rory & I have been back to visit our staff on unit 312 as they are such a big part of my motherhood journey, I truly couldn’t have done it without them. I find so much more gratitude & joy in every memory we have been able to create this past year. I will never take being a mom for granted, even on the hard days.” (fb)
