Skokie residents established the Skokie Community Foundation (SCF) in 2017 to foster a supportive, engaged and dynamic community in Skokie through meaningful giving, collaboration and community programming. Skokie Community Foundation, expanding on the efforts of the earlier Skokie Community Fund, is committed to growing this lasting community resource by: • Seeking out and partnering with donors and community builders who share our vision for Skokie; • Creating awareness of SCF as a community resource; • Building SCF's endowment; • Updating our knowledge of local, state and national issues for the betterment and welfare of the residents of Skokie.
