For the past eleven years, Jeffery has called The Altenheim home. And for the last eight years, he has been building a stronger community through his “painting break” sessions. With supplies always available, Jeffery invites fellow Altenheim residents to join in, encouraging creativity, connection, and conversation. His goal? To help neighbors step out of isolation and engage with one another, especially after the challenges of COVID. But Jeffery’s impact doesn’t stop there. He also takes the time to check in on fellow residents, ensuring they’re safe and supported. Whether reassuring family members or finding ways to make residents feel comfortable, his kindness and dedication shine through.
