Kendal~Crosslands Communities is a continuing care retirement community in historic Chester County It is the purpose of Kendal-Crosslands Communities to provide communities and services for older people in accordance with the principles of the Religious Society of Friends.

Our community was initially made possible by a generous grant from the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends in the early 1970s. We promoted staff internally, which provides an opportunity to hire an RN Supervisor to work on our 11pm-7am shift. Our 500-acre campus, adjacent to world-renowned Longwood Gardens, is a place where quality care and nature meet. We are a leader in the field of senior living, and for over 50 years, we have been caring for older adults rooted in Quaker-inspired values.
