The Larkin Center - Home Creating an environment which is Structured Protective and Therapeutic since 1896 The Larkin Center A Farewell Thank You to Larkin Supporters As many of you know a press release was published last week on the closing of one of Elgins oldest social service organizations The Larkin Center. It doesnt surprise us that so many people have reached out to ask what they can do and more importantly whats going to happen to our clients. We have many people who have offered their time and expertise in the transitional phase to ensure this change will be the easiest as possible for both our clients and staff. Lawrence Hall Youth Services who has provided quality care to children and families since 1865 will be caring for all clients in our ResidentialGroup Home Program as well as our Transitional Skills Center Program and our Therapeutic Day School.
