In partnership with the USDA MVFBs Summer Lunch program provides healthy lunches and snacks to children in need. Meals are offered Community Market Our Community Market program is a free farmers market style food distribution serving the residents of four Lowell Housing Authority properties Chelmsford Senior Housing Dracut Senior Housing Billerica Greenwood Complex and Tewksbury Carnation Drive. The program offers residents the opportunity to supplement their groceries by enjoying fresh produce and other Food Rescue The Food Rescue program picks up perishable foods from Greater Lowell supermarkets up to three times per week and distributes them to our member agencies and to a senior housing complex while the items are still fresh to prevent food waste.
