Home UPDATE FROM THE DIRECTOR In 2009 Dr. Jennifer Wilson founded A Chance Through Literacy ACTL with the mission to help women and children around the world gain access to quality educational experiences. She sought to do this by funding students or organizations to gain culturally relevant materials and help them improve their lives and the lives of their communities through education. Right before her untimely death she approved the first two grants.
