Every year students 1st - 12th grade participate in our Speech meet. Some students memorize Bible verses or poems, others choose to memorize short stories or scenes from a play. Our upper school students did persuasion presentations on a topic of their choosing. It’s not easy memorizing speeches that last anywhere from one to fifteen minutes, but they also present their speech in front of judges! They receive ratings and ribbons based on their performance. Our superior ratings then get to present their speeches in front of the whole school! It’s inspiring to see these kids work so hard and be so proud of their efforts.
