NATIONAL CARAVAN STAGE COMPANY INC
A professional non-profit theatrical Tall Ship creating experimental theatre, encompassing the themes of civil rights and environmental justice. To create experimental theatre with a social, political or environmentally relevant message or theme. Experimental in style and in content. A collage of characters, music, dance, poetry, humour, mask, aerial, video and lighting artistry. The themes of the shows address contemporary problems that face the western world today in a local and/or global perspective. These performances are staged on a 90 ft Tall Ship and offered to the public for free at waterfront communities large or small. Because of the unusual venue, the theatre attracts a large audience of diverse socio-economic and ethic backgrounds.
