The Society is an independent organization of alumni, students, faculty & friends of W&M, for academic excellence, history and tradition and good governance! We are the independent voice for alumni, students, faculty and friends of William & Mary. We seek to help W&M be the best public university in the country. The Society for the College will engage the larger William & Mary College community, as an independent voice, to help the College be the best public university in the country through the exercise of our Three Keys: good governance, honoring the College’s history and traditions, and achieving academic excellence and intellectual freedom through a liberal arts education.
