ATLAS HEALTH FOUNDATION
Atlas Health Foundation (AHF) works to reduce health disparities and gaps in services for vulnerable and under-served populations and communities. Rural health services need employees with veterans' skills and characteristics. The foundation is committed to assisting rural health services in 3,000 communities to proactively recruit qualified veterans and spouses for nonclinical and health career pathway jobs. Working with demonstration sites, AHF will provide guidance and hands-on help to recruit participants, set up community advisory committees, connect with veteran service organizations, involve other health organizations in their service areas, and facilitate exchange of knowledge between sites.
