Friends of Five Rivers
It's a beautiful day for children ages 2-5 and their parent, grandparient, or adult caregiver participating in these programs, led by Friends of Five Rivers Environmental Educator, Nancy Payne. These 90-minute sessions beginning at 10 am are educational, interactive, fun, and memorial. * NOVEMBER Tuesdays 4, 18, 25 – OR – Wednesdays 5, 12, 19 * DECEMBER Tuesdays 2, 9, 16 – OR – Wednesdays 3, 10, 17 * JANUARY/FEBRUARY Tuesdays Jan 13, 20, 27, Feb 3 (snow date the 10th) – OR Wednesdays Jan 14, 21, 28, and Feb 4 (snow date the 11th) Only five families per month per session, so don't delay.

Friends of Five Rivers
When we call this Eastern Bluebird "immature," it's really a compliment. To make it to this juvenile stage, they consumed thousands of insects to aid their growth, survived days of summer heat, and also worked out that whole flying thing. Their feathers may not look as refined as their parents, but the extra camouflage of juvenile plumage will help them hide from predators.
