Benchmark School was thrilled to host "Breaking the Cycle: Innovative Approaches to Math Education" with James Burnett, Co-Founder of ORIGO Education. Math educators from Haverford, Episcopal, and Media Providence Friends joined our Lower and Middle School teachers for an inspiring session on evidence-based strategies in teaching math. Rosanne Crowe, Head of Benchmark's Math Department, shared her enthusiasm: "We were delighted to welcome James Burnett and educators from area schools to join us for this event. It sparked productive conversations and equipped teachers with evidence-based approaches to enhance learning in mathematics." Our Lower School students have been piloting the ORIGO Education program this school year and have found it to be enjoyable, meaningful, and highly adaptable. We're excited to see how these innovative strategies will continue to foster a deep, lasting understanding of math among our students!
