A Christ-centered community organization walking alongside our Westside neighbors in Grand Rapids Since 1967, The Other Way Ministries has sought to build a community of hope and extend the love of Christ in our neighborhood. We are a grassroots, not‐for‐profit, community development organization. Our desire is to respond to critical needs on the West side of Grand Rapids with creative, preventative, and developmental programming. As an organization, we strive to put our faith into daily practice by investing in the lives and futures of our urban neighbors. Through nurturing mutual relationships and building on the assets of our neighbors, it is our goal to show love and support our neighbors, facilitate economic stability and growth, and develop diverse, indigenous leadership to build stronger community.
