The purpose of theIllini Country Stitchers is to contribute to the knowledge of andto promote the appreciation of fine quilts to encourage quiltmaking quilt collecting and an ongoing fellowship among peoplewith a serious interest in the art of quilting to sponsor andsupport quilting activities to contribute to the growth andknowledge of quilting techniques textiles patterns history andquilt makers through education. Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the monthJanuary thru October the 2nd and 3rd Thursdays in November whilethe December meeting is a holiday party on the 2nd Thursday. Time 700 pm doors open at 630PlaceSt.
