We are a 501 (c) 3 animal rescue organization dedicated to rescuing special needs and senior animals from high kill shelters & finding loving forever homes The Pepper Foundation is dedicated to rescuing special needs and senior animals from high kill shelters in and around the Los Angeles area. Our mission is to rehabilitate these animals and place them into loving forever homes. We believe every animal deserves a second chance!Each animal we rescue gets veterinary care immediately. We do blood work. xrays, urine and whatever else might be necessary to the well being of that animal. Many times these animals come to us severely neglected and might have conditions such as severe dental disease, heart conditions, liver, kidney disease. We spare no expense and many times our vet will need to refer us to specialists. We treat each animal as if they were our own fur kids. Every animal we rescue gets treated with the same love and dignity as our own. After all they have been through so much trauma and we want to make sure each animal has the very very best quality of life.
