The Marathon County Historical Society has the most beautiful garden in the City of Wausau. What a perfect place for the Marathon County Historical Society to host our annual My Dolly and Me: A Garden Party. On Saturday, June 14th from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm, children (and a parent/caregiver) are welcome to bring their dolly or stuffed animal to enjoy treats, stories, a craft and doll displays. Children can also introduce their doll/stuffed animal during share time. On display will be historical dolls and an assortment of vintage toys from the historical society’s collection. Tickets are $5 per person. My Dolly and Me tickets can be purchased online at https://www.ticketsource.com/mchstickets and are also available at the door. A quick reminder that the Marathon County Historical Society is hosting our monthly Vintage Game Night this Friday night June 6, 2025 from 5:30-8:30 pm at the Woodson History Center (410 Mcindoe Street, Wausau 54403). We have board and card games for all ages. Come with a group or come on your own. We all end up playing games together, laughing and having a great old time. Free popcorn. Need I say more.
