Over 200 community members attended a free health fair hosted by Wright State University medical students and Premier Health’s Community Health Mobile Clinic team. Held at the St. Vincent de Paul City Thrift in Dayton, the fair provided essential health services and resources focused on hygiene, nutrition, mental health, substance use, and overall wellness. Organized by third-year med students Bethany Ekeh and Katie Perry, the student-run event served as both a service opportunity and a meaningful way to connect with the community. Dr. Raj Mitra, Dean of Boonshoft School of Medicine and Chief Academic Officer at Premier Health, kicked off the event with gratitude for the collaboration: “The partnership between Premier Health and Wright State University is incredibly beneficial to Dayton and will help us meet the needs of our community for years to come.” (fb)
