The Arc, Warren County Chapter, Inc, is dedicated to enriching the quality of life of persons with intellectual and other developmental disabilities who reside in Warren County. Correlatively, The Arc is also committed to assisting families in solving the problems associated with the care of their family members with such disabilities. Our community-based intervention programs aim to foster optimal self-sufficiency, productivity, self-determination, and social adaptation. As an advocacy organization, we strive to create a more inclusive society for our constituents.

CEO John Whitehead (center left) met with Congressman Tom Kean last week to advocate for the protection of essential programs people with intellectual and developmental disabilities rely on in Warren County, like Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security. Many changes to these programs would make it harder for people with disabilities to get the help they need throughout their lifetime. We believe everyone should be able to live a full and satisfying life and get the care they need.
