Today we’re hitting the road with the one and only Chase, our stalwart Mobile Library driver, gaming enthusiast, and in-house talent. Chase is responsible for bringing library services to parts of Clearfield County that aren’t served by the three main libraries in the county. He is also responsible for transporting books via the resource sharing program, which allows the Curwensville, DuBois, and J&E Shaw libraries to loan books to each other. When Chase isn’t organizing the Mobile Library shelves and talking with patrons, you might see him taking a quick break to do a few lifts of the ol’ kettlebell. 📚❤️📚 (fb)

Today we’re shifting the Library Week spotlight to our Library Director, Kayla. She can usually be found up front with the rest of the crew finding, ordering, and cataloging new books that you’ll see hit the shelves. She likes to sit facing out so she can greet everyone who walks in the front doors. In between cataloging, repairing books, and doing all of the work that keeps two libraries running like a well oiled machine, she likes to take a moment to talk about her small army of pets, the books she’s been reading, and the new flavors of sourdough she’s been cooking up. 📚❤️📚 (fb)
