Wow… what a night!🕺🏽We had an unforgettable time at Friday Night Fever, Second Harvest Food Bank’s biggest fundraiser of the year, held at ArtsQuest on April 4. More than 220 community members, food justice advocates, sponsors, government officials, and volunteers came out in full disco-inspired style...and thanks to your incredible support, we raised over $100,000 to help fight food insecurity across our six-county region. This themed evening was a fun, fresh spin on our usual Empty Bowls fundraiser, designed to bring more people together in a joyful, inclusive space. 🪩The night featured powerful remarks from Emcee Ashley Russo, CALV's Executive Director Dawn Godshall, and veteran advocate Christopher Yarnell of BattleBorne. We were also proud to officially introduce Sarah Wassel as Second Harvest’s new Associate Executive Director. Huge thanks to our Development Team and to everyone who made the night special, from bidding on cakes to packing the dance floor.
