Center for Reproductive Psychology If you have suffered from infertility or have experienced a miscarriage or pregnancy loss you have gone through a reproductive trauma 151 you may be depressed anxious and feel an enormous sense of defeat. You may feel despondent out of control of your life and wonder why me. Your relationship with your partner may be under stress and you may feel overwhelmed by decisions about assisted reproductive technology be it in vitro fertilization egg or sperm donor or using a surrogate. You may also be trying to decide if adoption is the right step for you or if you should remain childfree.
