As we previously shared, AOII’s beloved Past International President Margaret "Peg" Kramer Crawford passed away on February 26, 2025. Peg’s family has chosen to celebrate and commemorate her life on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Alpha Omicron Pi will also show our respect and mourning by draping our badges in her honor on that same day. Per the Book of Rituals Instructions, when any member of Alpha Omicron Pi passes away, each member may show respect and mourning by draping her badge. The preferred method of draping the badge is to pin the badge through a small piece of black ribbon. Examples of ways to drape the badge are found in the “Resources” section of the Book of Rituals Instructions and are shown below.
