Dear CLARE|MATRIX Friends & Community Members, As a supporter of CLARE|MATRIX, we can’t overstate how grateful we are for your contribution to our work Saving Lives Through Recovery. We deeply value the CLARE|MATRIX community, which regularly goes above and beyond to make our work possible. We also recognize that many in this community are currently suffering as a result of the Palisades fires, that ravaged our city last month. Like so many of you, our daily lives were turned upside down on January 7th. As an organization CLARE|MATRIX is committed to doing all we can to support those affected by the Palisades fire, just as you have shown support for us. One step we are taking to support the community is by making our facilities in Santa Monica available for AA/NA meetings for those who have now been displaced. We have just finished renovations of a new Community Service Room located at 905 Pico Blvd. Santa Monica capable of accommodating groups of up to 50 people. We are happy to report that two displaced groups have already started holding meetings there. If you would like more information on meeting room availability, please reach out to Stephen Ball at Sball@clarematrix.org. We will continue to share updates on that and other ways we are lending a hand to help rebuild the community. With so many lives in crisis, the work of CLARE|MATRIX as a beacon of hope and recovery in the community has become more important than ever. After careful consideration, we’ve decided to proceed with our Annual Tribute Dinner Fundraising Event, scheduled for Sunday, May 18th at the Skirball Cultural Center. In the wake of incomprehensible devastation, recovery is both a need and a rallying cry for all of us to band together to minister to each other as well as ourselves. We hope you will join us on May 18th for our event – you will find additional details in the Save the Date below. And please, if there is anything we can do to support you, we hope you will let us know. We are your partners in Putting Recovery Back Into Treatment to build stronger, more compassionate communities. Sincerely, Mark Freund, Board Chair Matt Walton, CEO (fb)

Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone impacted by the fires across Southern California. Thank you to our first responders and city officials for their incredible work keeping us safe. Stay Strong 🙏❤️ (fb)
