YIRA will be hosting a fundraiser for Sudan this Saturday at the Table & Gallery from 7-9 pm. As of this month, about 11.5 million people have been forced to flee their homes, 150,000 have passed, and 25.6 million are facing food insecurity, with 8 million on the brink of starvation. This crisis has been neglected to an unprecedented degree, which makes this event extremely special. We hope to fill this space with love, care, and empathy for those who have been impacted through reflecting, raising funds, and raising awareness.
