The Sterny Way Foundation The Sterny Way Foundation Gregg Sternaman was a beloved coach and figure for both Highland Park and Libertyville High Schools. His charity The Sterny Way Foundation helps give kids the opportunity to participate in community athletic programs no matter what their financial means. Sternaman died on December 7 2009 after battling cancer. In honor of him both Highland Park and Libertyville two communities where Sternaman has a lasting legacy established this foundation.
