The BSO would like for everyone to welcome our new Box Office Manager, Raniece! We're so excited to have her join our staff! Raniece was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She measures her time here in Cookeville by the number of Art Prowls she has been to, and this year will make her 4th. Both impressed and appreciative of the thriving art community here in Cookeville, Raniece is committed to support, grow and advance the vibrant, enriching culture it creates in our city. In her four years here she has hit the music scene strong, winning 1st place in 37 Cedar’s singer/songwriter competition, made appearances on Good Morning Cookeville as a featured artist and the Country Giant singing her single “Bumper Sticker Kind”. A song based on a true story about a couple right here in Cookeville. She has also performed at Franklin Theatre in a singer/songwriter competition and recently has been nominated for a Josie Music Award for best female vocalist of the year in the RnB/Soul category! As an educator for the past 12 years, Raniece holds a BA in Psychology and a MS in education. Raniece is passionate and enthusiastic about music and anything that creates positive, enriching experiences for the community. She is warm, genuine and sincere and loves connecting with new people. She is a creative problem solver, committed to excellent, quality customer service and looks forward to joining the BSO team.
