Since 2003, our organization, with the aid of generous donors and volunteers, has provided assistance to over 23,000 individuals across approximately 9,500 households whose annual income averages at $10,000. Approximately 50% of these households were recently homeless, 15% disabled, and 6% victims of domestic violence, all falling under the annual poverty guidelines for their respective family sizes. Nearly half lack basic amenities such as beds, resulting in sleep deprivation. Every week, our team meticulously cleans, organizes, and inventories donated items, preparing them for delivery or pick-up for around ten families whose average size is 2-3 members. (fb)
