Urban Raptor Conservancy is dedicated to research and education to promote understanding and conservation of raptors in urban environments. Our goals are to: • Conduct scientific research and monitoring on raptors and how they respond to human-altered landscapes; • Provide education programs on raptors in the urban environment; • Train qualified individuals in tools and techniques to survey, capture, and band raptors; • Collaborate with colleagues in wildlife research and management, as well as community stakeholders, to develop, monitor and share best management practices for urban raptors; • Cooperate with and provide logistical support to state and local agencies and to private property owners where raptors occur, to safeguard the raptors and minimize potential conflicts.
