Horse and Heart Ranch is dedicated to personal transformation through experiential learning in nature with horses. In the tranquil setting of our ranch, high in the hills overlooking the bay, we nurture the journey of self-healing. Equus Anam Cara (EAC) addresses the critical need for effective intervention and alternative therapies for youth in transition. Our program increases emotional wellness and teaches practical life and social skills through an active outdoor experience that is more interactive and compelling to youth, and therefore more effective than traditional talk therapy. EAC strives to create emotionally healthy and socially competent youth who become well-adjusted, thriving members of community, and are prepared to make a positive contribution.

Horse and Heart INTUITIVE HORSEMANSHIP Equus Anam Cara Est. 2002 LA Fire Fundraiser Pierce College Equestrian Center has been a beacon of hope and safety for displaced animals during emergencies providing shelter and care for up to 200 horses and other animals including goats pigs chickens and miniature livestock. Their unwavering commitment to the community ensures that animals are safe and cared for during times of crisis. In Addition We are honored to feature an incredible group of women who are donating their services to support the rescued herd in LA.
