The Mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. In process, we strive to positively impact the lives and development of youth through the following core principles: strengthen family relationships; foster self esteem through personal achievement; teach healthy living skills; and develop a sense of personal and community responsibility.
