Student/Farmworker Alliance

National youth network organizing with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (@ciw) to build a food system based on justice, respect & dignity for farmworkers. "We work with — not for — farmworkers." Student/Farmworker Alliance(SFA) is a national network of students and youth organizing withfarmworkers to eliminate sweatshop conditions and modern-day slavery inthe fields. We work in alliance with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers(http://ciw-online.org/) (CIW), a Florida-based, membership-led organization of mostly Latino,Haitian, and Mayan Indian low-wage workers. We understand our work—whichformally began in 2000(http://sfalliance.org/history.html) —as part of larger movements for economic and social justice.

We are a national network of young people organizing to build a food system based on justice respect dignity for farmworkers. JOIN THE SC JOIN THE SC JOIN THE SC The SFA Steering Committee SC is the main leadership body of one of the most dynamic creative student worker movements in the country. Apply by December 15th to join a supportive team of SFA members working closely with SFA coordinators CIW staff and other allies to carry forward the work of the farmworkerled Campaign for Fair Food. Become part of this historic fight of hope and resistance with farmworkers leading and winning their own struggle for systemic change.
