We are so grateful to Wegmans, the Buffalo Bills Foundation and the #WNY community for making the allergen-friendly food drive a success! #Wegmans and the #BuffaloBills Foundation donated a total of $20,000 to the drive and called on the community to match. A total of $43,674 was raised to provide allergen-friendly foods to local food-insecure families with food allergies. Wegmans recently delivered their in-kind allergen-friendly food donations to our food bank distribution warehouse, enabling us to stock our partner food pantries with these nutritious items! FeedMore WNY is investing in the future by centralizing its operations to a new facility in the Town of Hamburg. the problem Due to a rapid increase in food insecurity among Western New York residents current FeedMore WNY facilities are operating beyond their capacity to meet the service needs of the region. the solution To continue expanding regional food programs and providing its current services FeedMore WNY will build a 197700 squarefoot facility to centralize its regional operations on a 74acre site in the Town of Hamburg. the need After reaching nearly twothirds of its fundraising goal to establish a permanent home for the organization FeedMore WNY is kicking off the public phase of its campaign and inviting the community to participate in this critical project.
