We’re thrilled to announce that Red Clay Dance Company has been awarded a Neighborhood Opportunity Fund (NOF) grant from the City of Chicago! This is an incredible honor — and a powerful affirmation of the work we’ve done in Woodlawn and across the South Side to center Black art, community healing, and Artivism. Thank you to the City of Chicago Department of Planning and Development and to the Woodlawn Chamber of Commerce for supporting our vision. And congratulations to our neighbors at The Grand Ballroom and all other recipients! This grant will help us continue growing the Red Clay Dance Center as a space where art, culture, and purpose meet.
