These children grappled with overwhelming difficulties and took their places in our communities they fought in our nations wars held many of the jobs and built their families despite those difficulties. For those I have encountered both directly and indirectly that would sooner forget the orphans there have been many others who have helped to preserve the orphans histories and stories.
