The Grenada Community Foundation (GCF) works to improve the quality of life for all residents of the greater Grenada area. We build a stronger, more vibrant community by connecting people who care with causes that matter. Our goal is to serve as a catalyst for positive community change in Grenada and surrounding areas of Grenada County. We are dedicated to attracting capital: human, emotional, intellectual and financial – towards building permanent, sustainable community resources. GCF seeks to support, strengthen and realize our community’s shared vision, now and in the future – and to help create an even Greater Grenada in the process. GCF is working to bring community leaders together in the development and realization of this shared vision by: Building our own endowment for use in strategic grants and community investments; Attracting donor-advised funds for deployment in our community; Providing an umbrella of administrative support for existing and future community development organizations; Creating and hosting an environment in which community issues and priorities can first be identified and discussed, then acted upon – all harmoniously.
