Did you know LBCC has a nationally competitive Livestock Judging Team? These dedicated students—from OR, CA, MT, NV, and ID—travel over 30,000 miles across 15 states in just two years, visiting ranches and sharpening their skills. Livestock judging is where students evaluate breeding and market animals, then use critical thinking and public speaking to defend their rankings in front of industry professionals. They put in countless hours of practice while balancing academics, all leading up to five major national contests in Kansas City, Louisville, Oklahoma City, Denver, and Houston.
