Our vision is to create healthy communities where all youth receive the support they need to graduate high school, go to college, give back to their communities, and become future contributors in the fields of science, aeronautics, and technology. Our nonprofit flight academy and after-school programs offer STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) enrichment is attracting participants from surrounding cities. The linkages between STEM learning and viable employment opportunities in the future cannot be emphasized enough, and in a community where underemployment and poverty persist at disproportionate levels, youth need to understand and embrace the connection between what our program teaches them and how that learning can be parlayed into further study and opportunities for on-the-job training in the aeronautics field.
