As we commemorate #WorldAlzheimersDay, we are proud to share the future of #Alzheimer's research is bright. Much of our optimism derives from the incredible progress we've made in #diagnostics. We now have several new promising tests in the pipeline thanks to the Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation Diagnostics Accelerator (DxA), a partnership spearheaded by #ADDF co-founder Leonard Lauder and Bill Gates. The DxA is a global research initiative dedicated to fast-track the development of affordable and accessible diagnostic tools and #biomarkers. In a Gates Notes post, provides updates on diagnostic tests that that may be soon available , including a simple blood test in development at University of Gothenburg, an eye test to scan your eyes for early signs of Alzheimer’s led by a team at the University of Washington, and digital tests being developed by Cogstate and Altoida.
