Queens Foundation Inc
To develop and promote under-served young women to reach their greatest potential to higher education and leadership through a society of women across North Carolina.TQF provides 4-7 year long programs designed to build young women into generation changers for their families by eliminating poverty within the family, starting in grade school. Young women are identified by our public school partners and once admitted into the program, girls are provided the resources to ensure they are confident and competitive to earn a four year degree. Once a young woman earns her degree, she has increased her future children's chances of also earning a degree to 90%. With a degree, multiple studies show individuals will no longer live in poverty, will earn a higher salary and be contributors to our community. Our program addresses macro issues of poverty and the education gap.TQF serves the Triad, Triangle, Charlotte, and Rocky Mount regions of North Carolina all through the partnerships with local public middle and high schools.
