Our mission is to promote the ownership, safe operation, and enjoyment of the private passenger rail car. THE ASSOCIATION'S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE THE OPERATION, OWNERSHIP, AND ENJOYMENT OF PRIVATELY OWNED RAILROAD PASSENGER CARS. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED WITH MEEETINGS TO EDUCATE OUR MEMBERS ON THE CURRENT ISSUES; WORK WITH THE FREIGHT RAILROADS, AMTRAK AND THE APPROPRIATE GOVERMENTS AGENCIES TO ENSURE THE OPPORTUNITY TO RUN THESE CARS. THIS INCLUDES ATTACHING CARS TO AMTRAK, COMMUTER AND OTHER RAILROADS AS WELL AS RUNNING SPECIAL TRAINS WHEN APPROPRIATE FOR THE OPPORTUNITY OF OUR MEMBERS.
