Halfway to Home is a non profit no kill dog rescue who takes in dogs from the streets and from owner surrenders and quarantines them, gets them vet checked & spayed or neutered. This is done by the help of donations and volunteers. To rescue, provide needed shots and medical attention, a safe temporary home with shelter, food and water, spay/neuter and finally, adopt out to a loving "Forever Home". Halfway To Home promotes responsible pet ownership through its policies and education process, which in turn encourages pet parents to view spay and neuter as the right thing to do. We strive to keep the concept of spaying and neutering upper most in everyone's mind so that someday.... Halfway To Home can retire.
