New Covenant Church
KHEL-LP 97.3 FM is an FCC Licensed Low Power, Non-Profit, Educational Radio Station in Rogers, Arkansas. The station is operated by Local People for Local People. We give away airtime to other companies who may sell it to a local business but the station does not receive any money for this. The station works to provide the airing of other local non-profit organizations spots. Our goal is to become what the FCC intended for LP FM - local radio. As we grow our programming schedule will become more complex and diverse to meet the desires of our listeners not the mandate of national media companies. Our FCC License is held by a small church but we are not a religious station and the church is not involved in the operations. But our mission is guided by the christian principal of service to others. We work with one of the local High schools to broadcast their sports and music events while providing experience for students to learn and help with live broadcasts. Everyone involved is a volunteer and the station depends exclusively on the donations of the community.
