Reuniting river and residents We are dedicated to establishing the Acushnet River as a focal point of community life providing accessible and inclusive opportunities for all to engage in the sport of rowing. We aim to inspire a shared sense of pride belonging and stewardship as well as build a legacy of rowing excellence that resonates throughout Greater New Bedford and beyond. We are supported by our community. NBRC is a 501c3 organization and works to provide rowing for all regardless of their ability to pay so we work hard to find partners to support our mission and the benefits of rowing.
