日本国際基督教大学財団（JICUF）は、第二次世界大戦後、国際基督教大学（ICU）の設立資金を調達するためにニューヨークに設けられた公共慈善団体です。以来70年以上にわたって、ICUの発展を支援してきました。 Working with ICU in its efforts to be an exemplary liberal arts university. Japan ICU Foundation In the aftermath of WWII visionaries in Japan and the United States came together to establish a university in Japan that would educate new leaders for a new Japan committed to reconciliation democracy and human rights. The Japan ICU Foundation was incorporated in New York in 1949 to support this endeavor and International Christian University ICU was founded the same year. Over 75 years later ICU has grown into a leading university and JICUF and ICU remain steadfast partners. With our eyes on the future JICUFs mission is to nurture global citizens who contribute to the wellbeing of humanity.

ICUキャンパスに、畑とわさび田があるのをご存知ですか？ 実は、皆さんが日々行き交う講義棟の裏手、静かな木立の中に、畑やわさび田がひっそりと広がっています。これらは「ICU三鷹キャンパスの森事務局」@icunomori が運営するファームプロジェクトの一環として、日々丁寧に管理されています。 ファームプロジェクトでは、ICUキャンパスの豊かな自然環境を活かしながら、「食」と「自然」に触れる体験の場を提供しています。学生や教職員がともに土に触れ、野菜を育てたり、わさび田を手入れしたりすることで、持続可能でインクルーシブなキャンパスづくりを目指しています。 畑や食に関わる活動に関心のある方、自然の中で人と協力して何かを育ててみたい方、ぜひファームプロジェクトにご参加ください。詳細は @icunomori からご覧いただけます。 Yosuke Kobayashi.
