GVST Member/Volunteer Barbara Lutz Passes Away GVST member and frequent volunteer Barbara Jean Barnes Lutz (86) passed peacefully on September 1, 2024. Barbara's family will be hosting a "Celebration of Life" this Sunday, September 8, from 2-5 pm. at the San Antonio Garden Center located at 3310 N New Braunfels Ave, San Antonio, TX. Dessert & coffee will be provided by the family. Heartfelt condolences from the Gardening Volunteers of South Texas go out to Barbara's family and friends. (fb)

It is organized exclusively for educational civic scientific and charitable purposes. Our fundamental efforts are focused on water conservation and environmental awareness while working collectively with fellow private public and educational organizations to serve as an educational resource for the community. The Gardening Volunteers of South Texas GVST mission is to provide informational and educational resources for individuals and organizations that help residents and businesses promote water conservation tips techniques while gardening and performing other daily activities by helping them implement and adopt a culture of water conservation as they become a WaterSaver Community member.
