to provide intervention, diversion, prevention, and alternative educational opportunities through our educational & community programs to at-risk youth ages 8 thru17 and their parents while making life building referrals to vocational training programs for young adults 18 through 24 years of age. It is important that we as educators and life building instructors acknowledge that the community of both at-risk youth and young adults experience a significant mismatch between their circumstance, needs and the capacity or willingness of their environment, Enhancement of the living environments of shut-in seniors by providing seniors with helpmates to do household cleaning chores, shopping, and other much-needed activities to keep seniors living in their own homes as much as feasible
