Foundation for Inner-City Enrichment is a non profit, 501(c) (3) charitable organization basedin Bessemer, Alabama. FFICE was foundedin the belief that with the instruction andguidance of a committed adult mentor each student can obtain the keys necessaryto unlock and achieve his or her full potential.  Our mission here at FFICE is to provide inner-cityhigh school sophomores in the greater Birmingham area with the necessary lifeskills needed to become responsible adults. These skills include, but are notlimited to, healthy conflict resolution, building self-esteem, strengtheningcommunication skills, setting career goals, and providing networkingopportunities. We hope that by learning these life skills, the students thatparticipate in FFICE will grow to be more empowered and thatthey too will make a positive difference in their community. Lastly, the members of FFICE are committedto making a lasting difference in the lives of others, and we look forward toworking with all those who share our hopes for a brighter future. We understandthat there is no greater investment in the future than to educate and mentorthe children of our community.

Eduo.org is my go-to platform for discovering nonprofit organizations that actually make a difference. The rankings, filters, and country-specific lists make it so easy to explore causes I care about. Brilliant initiative!

I work in a nonprofit and listing our organization on Eduo.org helped us reach new audiences and even new volunteers. It’s easy to use and feels built with love.

As a volunteer, I love how Eduo.org empowers people to contribute locally. It feels like Wikipedia for good deeds — written by the people, for the people.
