Many areas of rural Vietnam still lack essential health services and educational opportunities provided in the larger city areas. By providing Portable Libraries of Viet language children's books to schools, along with teacher training and workshops in literacy education, GVF expands education for Vietnam's underserved rural poor. By providing dental health education and training through our Dental Health Education Project, we bring much needed dental hygiene education to the same underserved rural areas traditionally lacking in dental services.
